Submission
Abstracts are being accepted for selection for short talk (12 min talk, 3 min Q&A), flash talk (3 min talk, 1 min Q&A) and poster presentation. Poster presentation is required for flash talk consideration. Select all presentation types for which you would like to be considered. See submission instructions for more details.
The best undergraduate student, graduate student, and postdoctoral presentation winners will receive a travel award to present at the 2026 SDB Annual Meeting. Current SDB membership (2025 dues paid) at time of abstract submission is required to be eligible for these awards.
If you are not a current member, renew or join before submitting your abstract.
Abstract submission is separate of meeting registration.

Abstract Submission Guidelines
Please review the abstract submission instructions.
Save your entire abstract as a text file (.txt) to remove all formatting before starting your submission. The entire abstract must be one paragraph only. There is a 2000 character limit (with spaces) for the abstract text. Include any funding sources in the last sentence of your abstract. NO ONLINE REVISION of the abstract is available after submission. Therefore, please review your abstract carefully on the preview page before submitting. If you do not see everything in the preview, go back to add the missing items.
